We are living in a way we didn't think possible

Two years and 3 months ago these two certain people met at a place called SPM. He was a Father of 4 and lived in Midlothian, Va. and She was a Mother of 3 and lived in Annapolis, Md. They were about 2 and a half hours apart. After about 2 weeks of chatting and emailing they decided to meet even though they were both cautious because of the distance between them. Well, they had a great time together! One year later on June 19th of 2005 they Married with a rather large wedding party of 7 children, 4 girls and 3 boys.
What a wonderful time it's been. No question, we have to be aware of the many issues there are bringing two families together like ours. Not to mention the logistical efforts necessary to raise 7 children ( age 7 to 14 ). With support and love from each other and God's grace and direction we are living in a way we didn't think possible just a few short years ago.
Thank you to SPM for giving us a method to come together. Attached is a picture of the whole bunch of us.

We are very much in love

I met Hilary here nine months ago and we went through a very interesting journey. She even stopped speaking to me at one point but we decided that we are very much in love and look foward to seeing what our futures hold for one another...

Our story:

We both signed up around the same time, early January 2005. Single Parents Mingle matched us and sent Ryan an email saying we were a 100% match, so he emailed me. He wasn't too computer-savy, so he didn't have any pictures, but after emailing a few times, he told me he was off to Las Vegas on vacation. Call it fate, but I also had planned a trip to Las Vegas that same week because my sister had to go out there for training... so we decided to get together while we were there. After playing phone tag all night long, we finally got together at a karoke bar in the hotel he where he was staying. We talked that night until 5:00 a.m. and agreed to meet up again the next day. Once we got back to Colorado, we spent every free moment we had together and starting dating. Several months later, Ryan won a cruise from his work, and asked me if I would join him, so we planned it for February 2006. On the cruise, he proposed, and we plan to marry in May 2007.

To all those still searching -

"Chippie" & I, "Calypso", met on SPM last November 2004. After 6 months of chatting online and talking on the phone, I took the plunge and flew to Ireland in April and met the person my soul had been longing for my whole life. The connection was immediate and the emotion overwhelming. Two hearts that belonged together, but because of life,
circumstance, & geography, had until that point been ignorant of the others existance. If it were not for SPM, we most likely would have never discovered each other. We continue to fly back and forth at this point, but are planning a permanent change in the near future. It is possible to have everything that your heart desires if you are willing to do the work. Truly, madly, deeply is what we are. He is my muffin and I am his yummy-mummy and it's all thanks to this site and a 'lil bit O'luck'!

EBSDADDY AND PEPPERBYTE: Married Sept 25, 2004

We met in 2003 and began dating in 2004. We began as friends talking about relationships & children then found that there were things more in common with each other then the people they were dating at the time.

We weren't quite sure how to combine families from different states and 5 kids ( 3 of his and 2 of hers) however, after the wedding on September 25th of 2004, which several members from the site attended & several viewed via webcam (thanks Troy) our lives are happily falling into place. It was rough working through all the technicalities of a long distance relationships and combining families, but IT WORKED !!!!!!!!
