We're expecting a baby!

I joined SPM to kill time at work and talk to other single parents. I had no idea this was even a dating site. Within four months I started talking to someone, thought he was funny. I never imagined it would go to where it is today. I lived in NY (Long Island) and he lived in NJ. It wasn't long distance, but we couldn't just pick up and go see each other when we wanted to either.

A few months later I moved to NJ to be with him, we have our own house, got married in October 2004, and in December found out we're expecting a baby in Summer 2005. (think blue!!!)

I would like to let you know that your service allowed us to find each other across 1000 miles. He was in Phoenix, AZ, I was in Denver, CO. I saw his profile on your website, and smiled at him. He smiled back, and we started emailing each other. We started talking on the phone about three weeks later, and spent literally hundreds of hours on the phone with each other before ever meeting.

We finally met and that sealed the deal. Three weeks later he relocated to Denver and proposed to me the same weekend. Seven weeks later, we both came to Phoenix, and were married a few months later. We have now been married for nine months, and couldn't be happier. Your service allowed us to get to know each other without involving our kids until we were sure where our relationship was headed. For single parents everywhere, this is probably one of the best ways to meet someone. With a specific service geared towards parents. When I logged on, I knew that the people I was looking at took parenting their kids, and putting their kids' needs first, just as seriously as I do, while still allowing me to pursue happiness for myself.
